My Sister’s Closet, Social Enterprise of BWSS

One of the many ways we meet the needs of women in our community is through social enterprise. This includes our Retail Program, and our thrift boutique, My Sister's Closet 1092. In addition to allowing us to provide free clothing and household goods to women rebuilding their lives free from violence, social enterprise is our answer to ensuring our long term financial sustainability as an organization. Profits are used to fund services and programs for women dealing with violence or abuse.

My Sister’s Closet – A Social Enterprise of Battered Women’s Support Services
Quality Thrift & New Clothing Featuring local designers and artisans

In our effort to support zero waste and eco fashion, we are solid members of the thrift movement, where women, men and children have access to beautiful new and thrift clothing.

Revenue generated from sales of clothing go into funding violence prevention and intervention services operated by Battered Women’s Support Services supporting over 8,000 women every year.

Our decision to free ourselves from the whims of government drove us to be in business to end violence against women.
