Anti-Violence Women’s Groups Call the Province of British Columbia to Prevent Domestic Homicide Against Women
Vancouver, BC – Anti-violence women’s groups are calling the Province of British Columbia to prevent domestic homicide against women. The recent death of a woman with her husband in Saanich on April 28 is increasing concerns of a domestic homicide. She found death in her house by police who later found the submerged body of her husband in the water off Cattle Point, 2.5 kilometres east of their house. On April 2nd an estranged husband attempted to kill his wife in Langley, on April 16th a husband tried to kill his wife in Abbotsford, and on April 21th a woman is killed by her common-law partner in Clearwater.
