Battered Women’s Support Services (BWSS) offers culturally appropriate services run by Aboriginal women for Aboriginal women. The Aboriginal Women’s program workers provide advocacy as well as, use traditional healing practices and contemporary support skills while working with women survivors of violence in intimate relationships, childhood sexual abuse, adult sexual assault, trauma and the impacts of colonization. The Aboriginal Women’s Program provides systemic advocacy and works for social change.
