Many a time as I sat on the now defunct 98 as it glided by the window of MY SISTER’S CLOSET (at Seymour/Helmcken), I would eye the haute couture fashions and sigh, thinking that this would be one store that would send my poor pathetic wallet whimpering into the corner. So needless to say, my designer beat went a fluttering when I discovered that MY SISTER’S CLOSET is not only a designer consignment store but that all sales proceeds go towards the advocacy of battered women.
